Here you can taste and buy four main types of Madeira wine named after their grape varieties:
Sercial – a dry wine whose flavour refreshes the senses and makes an excellent aperitif.
Verdelho - A medium dry wine, with a deep flavour, making an excellent aperitif that can also be served with soup or consommé.
Bual – A rich medium sweet wine with a strong flavor. it can be served with cheese, dessert or after dinner.
Malmsey – A dark coloured sweet wine with a soft texture. it is perfect for ending a meal together with coffee.
